CURRICULUM & PEDAGOGGY: BNYS – BACHELOR OF NATUROPATHY & YOGIC SCIENCES

GOAL:

  • To be given a fundamental knowledge about basic medical science & to promote a Naturopathic lifestyle [ RETURN TO NATURE] for a healthy living in this era of lifestyle disease.
  • Inculcate the students with high ethical standard & will train them to traditional modalities of Naturopathy & Yoga with scientific indulgence
  • Engender the eminent Naturopathic Physicians with well diagnostic skills & healing hands on

  • DURATION:

    5 ½ YEARS
    4 ½ YEARS – ACADEMIC CURRICULUM, 1 YEAR – CRRI ( Compulsory Residential Rotatory Internship )

    The four and half year’s curriculum which includes four parts & comprise of

  • PEDAGOGY:

    The techniques of teaching involve Lectures, Practical sessions, Clinical demonstrations, Seminars and workshop.

    The BNYS medical degree will be awarded only after the successful completion of CRRI. By the end of the course the student becomes a Doctor of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences and can register as Medical practitioner under the Tamilnadu board of Indian medicine.

    NON-CLINICAL:

    M.Sc-Yoga, Medical Anatomy , Medical Physiology , Medical biochemistry , Medical Microbiology , Clinical Psychology , Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics

  • MPH – [MASTER PUBLIC HEALTH]
  • MBA – [HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT]
  • Ph.D in various States & Central medical colleges & universities after post-graduation
