Department of Yoga

It aims at providing a meticulous knowledge and in depth experience in the study of Yoga as a Philosophy, Practice and Therapy through a concentrated study of Yogasanas, Pranayama, Mudras and Bandhas, Meditation techniques, Mantras, philosophical and religious scriptures. Yoga Philosophy and Practice explains about the history and outlines on branches of Yoga. It also explains about the rules and regulations of Yoga and to prepare themselves physically and mentally for the practice of Yoga. Yoga and Physical Culture provides deep learning of Yoga by applying the knowledge of anatomy and physiology to understand the biomechanical effects of the different postures and to know the importance of Shatkriyas and to learn about the science of nervous mechanism related to yoga. Yoga Therapy is the application of different Yoga practices to treat various disease conditions.

Department of Biochemistry

Biochemistry embodies a fundamental approach to the chemistry of life and to study the normal pathways of metabolism. It enable the students to understand the homeostasis , mode of action of hormones and their functions and to identify their molecular basis of various disease.

Department of Human Anatomy

Anatomy is concerned with the study of structure of the human body .The main objective of this course is to make the student to understand the construction of human body

Department of Physiology

Physiology concerned with the study of function of human body, mainly it exploring the nature of life.it is designed to provide students with an understanding of the functional and regulations of human body and physiological integration of the organ system to maintain homeostasis.

Department of Pathology

Pathology is the study of essential nature of diseases and especially of the structural and functional changes of human body which it comprises the study of gross and microscopic appearance of diseases tissue and the main goal of department is to develop an understanding of the clinical features for certain disease processes and it impact on detection ,treatment or outcome of the disease or injury.

Department of Microbiology

Microbiology is the study of understanding of the disease causing potential of pathogens and it which emphasizes the distribution,morphology and physiology of microorganisms in addition to skills in aseptic procedures ,isolation , identification and with the objective of this department is to describe in detail about the above mentioned study process and control measures of each pathogen and to have clear understanding of the organs involved in infection.

Diagnostic methods helps to impart the knowledge of techniques and skill in the diagnostic procedures in Modern Medicine and Naturopathy .In Naturopathy diagnostic methods , it enable the students to understand the science of Facial expression ,Iridology , Nabi Pareeksha, SwaraVignan, Nadivignan for attaining practical knowledge . Department of Pharmacology

Pharmacology is the study of intermolecular reactions of chemical reactions of cells with drugs , effect of drugs and established therapeutic agents on human body and enable the students to learn & understand the fundamental scientific principles of drug action.

Department of Forensic medicine & Toxicology

Forensic medicine or legal medicine is the branch of medicine dealing with the application of medical knowledge to establish facts in medico- legal responsibility during the practise of medicine and the student will acquire knowledge of law in relation to medical practise ,medical negligence and respect for the codes of medical ethics

Department of Community Medicine

Community medicine is a branch of medicine that is concerned with the health of the members of a community, municipality, or region. The course prepares students to recognize the health needs of the community and carry out professional obligations ethically and in keeping with objectives of the national health policy and involve the students and enable them to understand in various areas like Clinical epidemiology , Nutrition and their deficiency disorders, environmental sanitation , maternal and child health care and occupational hazards

Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology

It is designed to be specializes in the care of women during pregnancy and childbirth and in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the female reproductive organs and it will help the students to appreciate the client as a holistic individual and develop skill to function as an independent midwifery practitioner.

Psycology is scientific study of human behaviour and mental processes. Psychology is a source of fascination and helpful for people will able to gain a greater understanding of themselves and others.

Department of Massage

Massage is an manipulative therapy of Naturopathy and done with the pressure of the hands of masseur and also introduce the various technique of massage movement.

Department of Nutrition, Herbology, Fasting & Dietetics

Nutrition and herbology deals with the study of different nutritional and herbal prescription which are beneficial to treat and prevent relevant medical conditions as Naturopathy believes on the concept of ‘Food is Medicine’. Fasting and diet therapy is one of the most important therapies in Naturopathy to treat various medical conditions. The subject includes scientific and systematic study of the procedure, mechanisms and effects of fasting and diet therapy and brings the knowledge of basic nutrition.

Department of Hydrotherapy & Clay therapy

It is the study of various therapeutic effects of water and application of different Hydrotherapy modalities to treat disease. Clay therapy is the study of properties, therapeutic effects and application of mud or clay to treat the disease. These treatments were given to remove the accumulation of toxins in the body with the help of water and mud which is the basic principle of Naturopathy.

Department of Physiotherapy & Electrotherapy

It is based on a systematic theory and practical sessions to explain the nature and cause of movements in human body. The key concept of the theory is that movement emerges as a result of interactions between multiple systems at the individual’s sensory, motor, perceptive and cognitive level. It helps to restore movements and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability. These exercises target the treatment of painful areas by developing general muscle strengthening and flexibility, as well as improving overall range of motion throughout the body.

Department of Chromotherapy & Magnetotherapy

It emphasizes on techniques and treatment modalities through the application of various colors and magnets. It mainly deals with the Air therapy, Heliotherapy, Chromotherapy, and Magnetotherapy.

Department of Acupuncture, Acupressure, Reflexology, Reiki and Pranic Healing

The students were taught to apply their knowledge to improve patient care effectively in case of common medical conditions. During clinical instruction sessions, ample opportunity will be provided for hands-on needling techniques for body and ear acupuncture, pulse and tongue diagnosis, acupuncture points location, etc. In addition to this Pranic Healing and Reiki were taught to them along with the application of Moxibustion, Cupping and Electro-Acupuncture.

Department of Emergency Medicine

The principles of acute care medicine, basic principles of surgery, emergency medicine and first aid were taught to the students. They are trained to carry out basic life support, assess life threatening situations, prioritize casualties and safely evacuate casualties. The students are exposed to general medical practice both in the community and in hospital during the course curriculum.
